I first saw singer, rapper, poet, actress & author Amanda Diva on MTV. I remember thinking, “If this is how MTV is rolling, sign me up.” She had the vibe of the chicks I’d see at underground shows and poetry readings. The kind of relaxed sexy that only a cultured man like myself could appreciate.
Then I did some Intel and found out that she was much more than a pretty face. When I did that “25 Random Things About Me” I spoke of my appreciation for smart pretty girls. In fact I just had a small crush on a someone who reminded me of her SERIOUSLY! But I digress. Diva is definitely one of those smart & pretty women. But its not the Master’s Degree from Columbia in African American studies that lets me know she has a brain. Its her wicked sense of humor. Watching her on Diva Speak TV (I’ll be posting new episodes from now on) you can see she got jokes. I have always thought that the mark of intelligence was a good sense of humor. You need a brain to find the funny in this strange world. Amanda Diva is someone you need to get to know.
